An international garden show in Hamburg! The show was opened by German president Joachim Gauck (centre below), on 26th April 2013
The monorail was presented to the press on the 12th April, before they opened, with Hamburgs Mayor (above left), who also speaks very good English
The Tulips were a major success. Against all odds, they created an impressive display, in all parts of the IGS 2013. An extended winter had caused a few complications, which they mastered well
Most of the show can be seen by monorail and disabled people can use mobility scooters, provided by the IGS
